Clamoring for Christmas Communism

Christmas has emerged as a capitalist holiday, sure. And some may argue that the effects of all the spending and focus on material possessions is hurting the true, pure, traditional essence of the religious celebration.

But some in the media are taking it too far. (Hell, I'm not even talking about the anti-Christ "Happy Holidays!" political correctness that people like Bill O'Reilly have been exposing.)

Here, an article from the Chicago Sun Times makes it clear how the "haves" are having it so much better than all of us regular Americans. The socialist undertones are clear throughout the piece.

But "journalist" Anne D'Innocenzio stops short of actually suggesting a revolt against the proletariat "haves" who are having such an oh-so-marvelous capitalist-friendly Christmas.

Also note the use of "holiday season" FOUR times in the body of the text in addition to the word "holiday" in the headline. Yet the word "Christmas" occurs only ONCE in the article, and only in a quote attributed to someone else!

Anne D'Innocenzio, when it comes to Christmas - er, holiday - Communism, you're not so D'Innocent after all.

D'oh!
